The path I'm used to do in Somma Vesuviana is quite different than the one I do in via Napoli. Even though I prefer to run near the sea, the Somma Vesuviana path is really good since it stimulates the muscles in a different way due to its variable paths. Infact, while Via Napoli is a flat path by the sea, Somma Vesuviana is in the open countryside and has a gradual climb for the first 4,5 KM. After crossing them, there is a downhill for other 3 KM, than there is a flat path for the remaining kilometers. Around 8 KM you have the opportunity to run in a nice green park. It's the Pomigliano's Public Garden. Pomigliano's Public Garden is good for adults and children. There is a children playground, a pond, several trees and plants, and a track to race on foot or by bicycle.
